Char Kwey Teow ( Cha Kwetiau )


Description:
Love this food! I used to have this for bfast, Acek Surabaya who has magic hands to cook so deliciously :D . Or, Mie Panjang by Jln. Cipto :D

It's very simple, but the secret is in the oil ( Lard ) !

Ingredients:
Flat rice noodles ( Kwetiau ), boil, and rinse, add a lil oil,stir
Lard ( Lemak Babi )
Pork
Shrimp
Fish Ball
Onion Spring/Leek, sliced thinly
Bok Choy ( Sawi )
Salt
Pepper
Soy Sauce
Sweet Soy Sauce
Ajinomoto ( optional )
Water
Egg
Garlic, smashed
Banana leaves as a " plate "



Directions:
1. Stir fry the garlic in lard
2.Add the pork,shrimp,fish ball
3.Add pepper,salt,ajinomoto
4.Add bok choy and onion spring/leeks
5.Add egg,scrambled
6.Stir fry, then add the boiled flat rice noodles
7.Add some soy sauce,sweet soy sauce
8.Taste to get the best flavor
9.Add a lil water,to blend the flavor.
10. Ready to serve in banana leaves :)

  2. Da, pake Ampia kan ya ? Mei2 buat mie pangsit juga, pake mesin ampia. Lbh enak. Kalo yg ini tinggal beli jadi.LOL
