Bihun Kuah ( Rice Vermicelli Soup )
Description:
Another recipe.....This time is Bihun Kuah.Wah, in my city,esp.North Sumatra, this food is famous.
I myself,love rice vermicelli more than fresh yellow noddles.It's my lunch for today ( My fam has known that I'm crazy abt this food ).
Ingredients:
*1 handful of rice vermicelli
*cai sim ( yu choy ) or sawi, chopped
*1 chopped garlic
*pork,cut into small n thin pieces ( you can boil them with some water,and put some salt and vetsin ( ajinomoto),just to take the juice )
*liver,cut into small pieces
*shrimps
*fish balls( divided into 2 )
*salt soy sauce
*1 egg
*pepper
*tomato,cut 1-2 slices
*leek,chopped
*green onion
* a lil oyster sauce
Directions:
Take some juice from the boiled pork,and add the pork,shrimp,liver and fish balls.
Wait till the water boils and add tomatoes,leek,green onion and egg.
Add some pepper and salt soy sauce
Add a lil oyster sauce
In the other place, boil some rice vermicelli and put in a bowl (put a lil oil in the noddles so it won't be sticky ).
Pour the soup on top and sprinkle some fried onions.
