The Schalhamers Meet My Parents in Indonesia - I've Got Packages Again!!!

Oh Happy Day...Oh Happy Happy Day!!!!!!!!! Finally Lidya & Brian Schalhamer arrived safely in USA after visiting Indonesia for a couple weeks.

Before the went to Indonesia,Lidya had asked me abt my parents' address.She had a plan to visit Medan ( her friend got married there and stopped over at my parents' house on the way to Parapat ).

She sent me messages in YM,and said they would leave for Siantar the next day.I gave her the wrong phn no,that's why she couldn't reach my fam. I sent her the correct no,and she said she'd try to visit my fam.

The next morning, Mommy called me..Mommy said,"Mei2...Lidya would come here,your friend." Mommy was a lil bit surprised,since I didn't tell her abt their visiting..Mommy said,"What should I do?" I said to Mommy," Mi,serve them Saksang n BPK.They'd love to eat them." >Mommy said," Wahh.. Good ideas!!! But,do you want to have some more packages from here? I can buy some for you before they arrive."I said,"Ok,but I haven't asked Lidya abt bringing some for me." Mommy said," I can tell her.What do you want?" It was a short time to tell Mommy what I wanted. I just said," just buy what you think I like ."

Then,abt 1 hour,Papi called me.Papi said," Mei2,they're here now.". I called back and talked to Lidya . She said," Mei2...I'm here now.I feel like home!!! Enaknyaaaaaaaaa..... So,we chatted on the phone.She said they're served Saksang,BPK n Mie Pangsit!!!! Bryan had chilies on his noddles.

Mommy told me and Lidya too,that she cried when met them.Mommy said," When they arrived here, we hugged and cried. I said to them,"We're missing Mei2 and Ronnie.But,when we see Lidya n Brian,our missing had been paid.Meeting them means meeting my own daughter and son in law." Daaaaaaaa...... Lidya and Brian become my parents' new children!!!!


Lidya said to me they would take pics,so I could see them. She sent me a couple days ago. Wahh..Papi's really healthy, fatter.Ching2 is getting taller and cuter.Mommy is still the same... The most beautiful lady!!!!

Mommy gave some stuff for me.She gave some to Lidya,too ( kan skrg udh jadi anak ) .

So, today,the package had arrived.I'm so excited!!!

The post man said I had 2 packages!!!..... I know one package from Lidya,but the other one??Who's so kind sent me a package? When I checked, Hey...it's from Jenny. I remember she promised to send me Sugar Cookies!!

So... I just unpacked the packages. I am so so so very happy!!!! Ronnie just called and I said on the phone," Honey,guess what? I got packages!! Lidya n Brian sent me the package from Mommy!!! " He said," Oo... she must be excited!!! Glad to hear that,honey!!! "


Again,thnks a lot to Lidya n Brian Schalhamer for visiting my family,and brought some packages for me.We do appriciate your time to visit them and wish next time we could meet someday somewhere!!!! If you came back to Indonesia,you're welcome to stay at my parents' house ( if we went home,we'd like to visit your fam ,too ). I remember what Lidya said a couple days ago," Mei,if we came back,could we visit them again? I feel like home there." Honey,your question is answered. " anytime,Lid...anytime" Now , I have a new sister here.

We enjoyed our visit in Medan and met Mei mei's parents also. We thank for Mei mei Parents hospitality. We enjoyed Noodles, saksang and pork roast. We hope can visit them again someday.
